Public Hearing

In accordance with Governor Holcomb's Executive Orders 20-04 and 20-09 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the limitation on public gatherings, the public hearing for this petition, Docket #UV 2020-01, 7183 W US 40, to allow single family residential to be a permitted use within the B-2 district, will be conducted by the (BZA/Plan Commission) electronically by WebEx meeting platform.  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 6 p.m.  

Public comments may be submitted in the following ways:
     Prior to the meeting:

  • Drop you comment in the utility drop box located on the west side of town
     During the hearing:
  • Verbally during the meeting, limited to two minutes (be sure your microphone is muted)

A copy of this application, legal description, and all plans pertaining to this project are on file and available for examination prior to the hearing in the office of the Department of Planning and Development at the Town Hall at 11501 E. Washington Street, Cumberland, Indiana 46229 by appointment only.
