Redevelopment Commission

The Cumberland Redevelopment Commission (RDC) was formed to facilitate economic and redevelopment within the Town.  Under Indiana Code 36-7-14, the Commission's purpose is to "investigate, study, and survey areas needing redevelopment within the corporate limits."  The RDC, further, is designed to promote land use in the best interest of the Town.  The Commission can acquire land, clear property for redevelopment purposes, construct public infrastructure or facilities, repair structures, remediate environmental contamination, and other similar tasks.

The RDC meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.  The members are appointed to one-year terms and are as follows:
  • Kim Brand
  • Kellie Freeman
  • John Fruin
  • Justine Jones
  • Mike Wolski
RDC minutes and agendas may be found in our Document Center.
