Comprehensive Plan

The Cumberland Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2011.  This plan establishes the Town's vision and goals for land use over the next 20 years.

Cumberland's vision is, "The town of Cumberland embraces its historic and cultural resources as well as its National Road heritage to thrive as a viable town built on small town values and charm while providing quality of life amenities desired by young professionals, families and active adults through multi-modal access, sustainable practices, and intergovernmental cooperation".  The links below will take you to the current version of the Cumberland 2031 Plan.
