Please come and visit us, it's the place to be on Saturday mornings! Stroll through the vendors stalls and enjoy all the color. It is truly a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.  The Cumberland Farmers Market is part of the Buy Fresh, Buy Local movement. 

 

The Farmers Market is located at Cumberland Town Hall, 11501 East Washington Street (map).   The Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon beginning on May 1st and running to October 31st And every Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. begining June 1st and running until September 30th.

 

 

We have a variety of local farmers and producers who sell organic or naturally grown fresh beef, pork, cheese, free-range eggs, honey and truckloads of fresh picked fruits and vegetables.

 

Come and talk with our vendors about their produce and learn that everything is straight from our local farms to your table. Pick up a few new recipes or tricks on how to serve this colorful bounty from the garden. Learn how to make 'fried green tomatoes' or the best way to cook fresh green beans or even how to fix sweet corn in the microwave oven in just a few minutes.

 

We have a number of artisans that produce beautiful home-made crafts, such as quilts, baskets, jewelry and artwork. You will be able to learn exactly where and how their products were made or grown.

 

Come and spend a little time with us on Saturday mornings and step back in time and discover that it is not just a Farmers Market, but a social event where you meet your friends and neighbors in the community!
