Residents

Welcome Residents!

Residents of the Cumberland are fortunate to have great parks and schools.  The Town provides its residents with many services that can easily be found in the services section below.

The Cumberland Park System includes three parks, the Pennsy Trail (under coCobblefield Entrancenstruction in 2009) and proposed Buck Creek Trail. The Parks Advisory Council for the Town plans several great events throughout the year and a well recognized Farmer's Market.

Cumberland lies within both Marion and Hancock Counties and three Townships. Students in Marion County attend Warren Township Schools, labeled in 2009 the best urban school in the nation at getting students to graduate in four years by Education Week. Hancock County students attend either Mt. Vernon Community Schools or Southern Hancock Community Schools.
