The Town of Cumberland is positioned along the Marion and Hancock County lines, with equal portions of the Town within each county providing both urban and suburban amenities.  The Town of Cumberland owns its own sewer system and is in the process of constructing an interceptor to expand service to the east portion of its territory.

 

The Town of Cumberland is known historically for being a transportation hub.  Today, the Town is located just south of I-70 equal distance between the Post Road and Mt. Comfort Road exits.  Similarly, the Town is located just minutes from I-465 along East Washington Street, Historic National Road. 

 

The Town of Cumberland has a diverse business climate with opportunities for retail, office and service establishments and the potential for light industrial uses.
